The 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge was designed to get us ready for the festive season, earlier than we might have without it. Each day a challenge is posted with a card that I have created for the challenge. If you are joining the challenge then please share them using the #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge or join the Facebook page. Links to both are available below.
The first colour combo challenge for this challenge! I know you love these challenges as they might not be considered tradition.
While this challenge isn’t only for people of Stampin’ Up! this challenge does detail Stampin’ Up! colours. Should you not own or have these colours then please swap them for a similar colour to them detailed.
The colours for today challenge are:
- Granny Apple Green
- Melon Mambo
- Basic Black
White can be used where it is not already detailed.
This project went through the mill a little bit I won’t lie. It didn’t work out the way I expected initially however I love it. I used the Christmas Means More Stamp Set which I originally purchased for the Chalkboard Christmas Challenge. This card turned out similar.
I love repetitive pattern on a card. By stamping an image multiple times it really fills an area. In the Christmas Means More Stamp Set you have images within the sentiment as well as larger images that match. I love how Stampin’ Up! have thought of everything with this set.
I am not one normally to add a banner to my card but I really like the way this looks. The scallop trim down the edge in the Melon Mambo card . This was die cut with a die from the Budding Blooms Dies . This is such a fun way to add just a little pop of colour.
