Hello & welcome to the June 2020 Artisan Design Team blog hop. This month’s hop has seemed to have taken some time to reach us but I’m so excited to finally show my projects with you. With the launch of the NEW Annual Catalogue (which you can request a copy here) we have an influx of amazing new products. The first product Suite you come to on in the catalogue is the Flowers for Every Season, you can shop the suite here.
There is so much in the Flowers for Every Season Suite that it can be a little overwhelming. I totally get that. This being said there is just too much amazingness to turn down and you’ll still want everything. I really wanted to focus on the heart of this suite; the stamp set and dies/punches. The suite has to bundles within it; Jars of Flowers Bundle & the Celebrate Sunflowers. Which is your favourite?
For the stamped images themselves, I stamped them down in Versamark Ink before heat embossing in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. By doing this it allowed me to colour a little more freely as the embossed area resists the colour. This happens for the majority of the colouring tools that Stampin’ Up! offers. For my images I used a dry aqua painter with inks onto normal Whisper White Card Stock. Isn’t it effective.
In the Flowers for Every Season Memories & More Kit are these amazing die cut words. For those of your are aware the Memories & More packs are perfect to coordinate with our photo pockets for easy and effective scrapbooking. Not only these Stampin’ Up! offers card bases to turn them into cards.

Love love love these as I told you a few times already. 🙂
The blue in the background and the pop of pink are really complimentary to the wornderful watercolored sunflowers.

Wonderful cards! The colors are great, soft but bright. I love the contrast between the blur background and the sunflowers.
Christine Geary says
So that color wash on the card base is from the Memories and More card pack? It is gorgeous. If that is what those cards look like then they are a must have!
Martin Stone says
The background was created with Balmy Blue ink and a Sponge brayer. It’s super easy to do!
Tammy Carol Wilson says
Your cards are beyond stunning, Martin!!! Love, love, love the Subtle blue background! Brilliant!!!
Kristen says
I don’t quite understand what you mean by dry aqua painter without inks. Can you please explain?
Martin Stone says
Apologise it should read ‘a dry aqua painter with ink’. This meaning that you are okay using the ink to colour the image, prevent the Whisper White from getting wet.
