We only have 10 days left of the 30 Day Card Making Challenge. This is going so quickly and with it runny out of time this doesn’t mean you can’t start today or tomorrow or even in May. This is to be run for you as and when you can with no pressure from me.
Day 20 was all about encapsulating a memory you have in a card. This challenge is difficult. Firstly which memory do you choose and why? Then how do you actually create it in a card!
The memory I choose took me back to December when Sean and myself and a few of our friends popped to Amsterdam. It was great fun and only wish we had more time to get more stuff done. I might just have to go to The Netherlands again some time.
To represent this memory I had to choose the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set that I actually brought in Dutch! Perfect right? I think the term is happy accident. I created a repetitive background with some of the stamps. Taking four primary colours; Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Pear Pizzazz, I was able to create the backdrop.
The card was finished with taking a piece of Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo and adding little details in. I brought in the Well Said Stamp Set and coordinating dies because I wanted this ‘Friend’ sentiment.
don’t forget to join in the challenge and share your projects under #30DayCardMakingChallenge. If not the still check it out and share a little love.

What a cool card, and such a nice use of vellum! I rarely use mine, but you have inspired me to pull it out. Thanks!
