Okay, I think after 16 days I’m finally getting the hang of this blogging everyday business. It’s so strange that everything is still going on outside however it’s been nice to escape reality get get a little lost in crafting. I hope you are all enjoying the challenge so far and joining in where you can.
Today’s challenge is all about my favourite colours; Black, White & Grey. This was inspired by my friend Melody after she posted one of my projects on her Instagram story and complimented me on how I used these three colours. So this could have been a colour combo challenge however due to the reason behind it, I thought it was better suited not being one.
Following on the reason behind the challenge this card actually follows with it. The project shared by Melody was the one where this flower was meant for or even left over from. Fun fact right? If your curious of that project you can view it here.
There’s a few similarities between the two project but I like the little extra details added to this one. I don’t know about you but I love the Good Morning Magnolia Stampin Set a lot as you can probably tell from how much I use it. It’s just so versatile and there’s only a few months left to get it with a Suite discount as well as a bundle discount. Don’t miss out on saving your pennies to spend on other crafting items.
I really enjoyed this project. Even if I had the hardest element already made just waiting to be put onto the project. There is just an elegance to this card that is brought through from the colours.
I can’t wait to see what people are creating for today’s challenge. We are very nearly at the 1000 projects over on Instagram. That’s a lot of inspiration to get your teeth into, you can check it out by searching #30DayCardMakingChallange.
