Happy Sunday! Thank you for stopping by for the Stamping Sunday’s blog hop. This month we are sharing with you are favourite stamp sets from the new January – June Mini Catalogue. I don’t know about the others but it was a struggle as I just could not choose. In the end I settled with the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set. If you haven’t yet received a copy of your own you can request a catalogue here.
I wanted to create something a little different to just a normal card therefore I created a wallet to house a separate sheet of Whisper White. This automatically will make an impression for the recipient. To add to the prettiness of the project the Forever Blossom Stamp Set just works perfectly with the floral images.
I wanted the flowers to sit subtly on the card which is why I stamped the images down in Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I coloured the flowers with our Stampin’ Blends in two colour duos; Highland Heather & Old Olive. The embossing powder resists the alcohol makers creating a colour wash effect.
The sentiment to the card is very well suited for a Wedding greeting card with this in mind I wanted to create a little gift card holder. For its design I took all the elements that I love in the card and transferred it to the gift card holder. My favourite element is the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon which has also been coloured with the Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend.
