It’s my favourite day of the month! The One Stamp At A Time Design Team are hopping and this month we are celebrating the release of the Autumn/Winter Catalogue. I know it’s been just over a week since it’s release however we can drag out the celebration a little longer.
You might not be starting here at my blog with you already hopping over a few before reaching here so welcome and I Home you enjoy today’s project. The Autumn/Winter Catalogue is full of perfect items for the coming seasons, the biggest being Christmas. The idea for today’s card was all based around the colour being Blushing Bride, I’ve previously said that subtle colours are a big trend this year and this colour fits right in. Image this card in one of every subtle colour?
The main part of this card is using the die to emboss the shape into the card rather than cutting the card. Magic right? It’s not I promise, using a silicone sheet and an adopter I was able to do this with my big shot machine. If you don’t have these hands then you can just cut and out and slit it back into place. This gives the exact same effect in away but just not quite.
Once I had this all sorted I was little stuck as to how to finish this card off. I choose the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set which is a must have for this Christmas and next. It’s just adorable! Then I saw these fabulous sequins in the Snowflake Sequins – you heard correct Snow-flame-sequins. Take my money and give me 20 because these are cute.
