I feels like forever since I last posted even though it was only Monday. It’s been a really busy week here with the amazing promotions Bonus Days as well as the Extra, Extra. It’s so amazing to see the happy faces of my customers when they get the extra codes come through – makes my day slightly better.
Today’s card is coming at you with the Creation Station Design Team and this months theme is ‘Got Your Back’. Can you guess what we will be doing? The idea was to create amazing backgrounds for our cards using any techniques we can think of. I always try and think a head of what everyone else might demonstrate and then try not to do that myself to make sure you are all getting enough verity.

This in mind I also like to challenge myself in pushing myself to use Designer Series Paper (DSP). While I love all our DSP, I struggle to integrate in within my card designs, it is mostly because of my style. Combined the two challenges together I had some type of direction in which to got. On my social media platforms I shared that I absolutely love the Verdant Garden Stamp Set, this Stamp Set also has coordinating DSP so was just the perfect combination.
I took 5 strip of DSP measuring 1.5 inches and a 6th strip measuring just 1 inch. Using the base of the card as a guide you will be able to adhere the first strip. Using your grid paper line the bottom of the second strip at 1 inch from the base; follow this pattern of 1 inch being between each layer until to come to the final strip. Add this to the top of the card.
