Can you believe it’s been a month since the last OSAT Blog Hop? It’s crazy how quickly time goes when your having fun! I was a little apprehensive to join something like this but I’m really enjoying myself which always makes this so much more enjoyable.
This being said and as you’ve probably already noticed, I’m not a 3D paper project fan. I became a tragic experience with some paper, glue and probably something to do with lines not lining up. At one point in the how to video I was bricking it at the box just wasn’t lining up – note the scared silence! With projects like this I always like to keep both projects coordinating, so I could the main elements and translated them into the box. On reflection I really think the box would have been better done in Smoky Slate just to make it really pop. What’s your opinion?
So I’ve wrote all the above and I haven’t even told you these weeks theme! What am I playing at! The theme is #Simplestamping. I know if you follow my social media you’ll have seen me speak able this motion in really bringing card making back to basics; card, stamps and ink. So I wanted to embody that into today’s card. No games. Just card, stamps and ink. I want to show how you can make an impact with limited supplies. I had one stamp set, two ink pads and two sheets of card. You could even make another card with the Whisper White and these materials.
The background on the card for me makes it stand out. The sentiment isn’t one I personally would use on a card; or at least I haven’t thought of one yet, it’s bold and the style of it is amazing. I thought straight away it’s make an amazingly graphic background. Repetition is a really great way to create impact and suggest you give it ago. To see how today protists are made, check out the videos below.
I’m sure you haven’t missed that it’s Valentine’s Day, while me and my partner Sean aren’t doing anything tonight or even this week due to his work schedule I have a cute night planned with no laptops or phone. I know he feels it when I’m busy with you all or preparing things to share so hopefully this will make him feel as special as he actually is.
