OSAT – Sweet Wishes – Stampin’ Up Hello Cupcake Photopolymer Stamp Set

So I have something a little different today. I have been offered to join up in a little blog hop each month. Now this is completely new to me however I’m sure you all our old pros at hopping. For those of you who this is new too (like me, yes I’m right here with you), it’s where you can jump from page to page seeing so many examples of amazing projects under one theme.

The idea of working to a theme gave me nightmares, I won’t lie to you. Took me straight back to University and sitting in lectures. Horrififing. This being said I just said down and tried to make some magic happen. It is stipulated that you need to make a card as well as something a little extra. As I’m sure you all would have noticed I tend to stick with Card Making as that is what I do best. So this presented a little challenge.

In circumstances like this I like to take things one step at a time. I know I wanted to use Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake and the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set that available in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. I started with the card and it didn’t turn out the way I wanted but it’s better.

Now I had the card sorted, to take the pressure away all I needed to do with translate this design into a 3D item. As you can see I took all the same elements from the card and created a cute box. The mix is only 7cm squares so you can get two boxes from one sheet of A4, the piece of card required is 11x20cm. I scored around each side at 2cm and then taking the top of the card score at 9cm. The video explains it all don’t worry.
