I’m going to try an bring a little spring time to today’s wintery day! Well it very cold over here in the UK, I hope it’s a little warmer where you are.
Today’s card is using a flurry of colours that really make all the flowers pop! The full list of colours used are available below however some of the honourable mentions is the Night Of Navy, Melon Mambo and the Smoky Slate. Now I’m sure you’re thinking why didn’t I used green for the leafs, the reason? I wanted the flowers to stand out and be the focus and by avoiding green it’s always everything else stand out. You’ll be seeing this again, I’ve already made it. Shush!
I did something a little backwards with this card by masking off the area in which I wanted to stamp the sentiment in. However it didn’t really work out for two reason. First being my ink pads being too juicy (this is a thing) and cheap post-its. Easily fixed however in fixing the problem and making at layer for the sentiment. I much prefer the result after.
The how to video is below ready to be viewed. I’ve noticed that the camera is a littl shaky (blame all the stamping). Please be advised that I’m going to try and resolve this ASAP.
This card is super simple and easily stepped up. I challenge you all to give this card ago and do a little extra to “Step this card up”. Show me your makes using the hashtag #MartinsMayhem.
See you around!
