Back with some Crumb Cake! I’m honestly surprised I haven’t used this colour more. I took a trip back down memory lane earlier this morning to see what cards I could remark using newer Stampin’ Up products. The first thing I noticed, lots of Crumb Cake, don’t get me wrong I love it and I’m sure you do too but I’m glad my style has broaden. Let me know what you think about the throwback idea, who knows what will come from it!
I’m quite excited for today’s card, it’s using a new Stamp Set that’s been added to my collection, it is the Love What You Do (148042) which was added to celebrate 30 years of Stampin’ Up, there’s so many accessories to match with this set. Using a Crumb Cake base and have two additional lays of Crumb Cake to create dimension I used the main flower stamp with Stazon Ink to create the background effect. The colours used are from the Brights Collection; Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green.
From the image you’ll see a little swatch of the colours used to see how they would show on the Crumb Cake. I stamped the image twice to see the difference in colouration, this helped me decide on the colours. This was only a piece of scrap so please remember to keep these and they come in useful in situations like this!
Anyway, I’m off to do some more crafting and to write a couple more blogs. Happy Sunday all!
See you around!
