It’s Thursday and that means two things, time to post a card and second the weekend is just around the corner! I’m sure you are just as excited as me!
Today’s card is one I’ve had in a stockpile and was a simple notelet made to give out with a catalogue. While it might be a quick and simple card it really demonstrates the lovely designer series paper.
As I already advised, the notelet is using Coastal Cabana as a base measuring 3×3 inches mounted with a mat of Whisper White. This Whisper White later will be used for the sentiment and the foliage stamp. The greeting is stamped with Smoky Slate and the foliage in Coastal Cabana, simple right? I wanted the designer series paper to be the main focus of this card which is why I choose the coordinating paper from the Tea Room Specialty DSP.
Now if I was to layer this over the top I wouldn’t be able to see the sentiment. Using the Pretty Label Punch I punched out the shape of the DSP and layered this up using dimenstionals. With these little notelet I like to make a little extra touch like decorating the envelope or this inside, which as you can see I have one in this case.
