AD | Hello crafty friends! 🌸 Today I’m joining @a AD | Hello crafty friends! 🌸

Today I’m joining @alexsyberiadesigns to celebrate the brand-new Happy Cuties & Peony Corners Release and I went full vintage floral for this one!

I used the gorgeous Peony Corners Stamp Set on kraft cardstock, colouring just parts of the design and leaving some of the florals as line art. I absolutely love how much that makes those pink peonies stand out without needing to colour every single detail.

A few splatters, some twine and a dimensional sentiment finished everything off and I really love the soft, slightly rustic feel of this one.

The new release is available now, with products available individually, and there’s also 15% off the Full Release Bundle until the end of today, 7 August.

I’ve shared a closer look at the card over on my blog too, including how I put it all together.

Would you colour the whole floral image or leave some of the line art showing like I have here? 👀

One glue dot? Good. Two or three? Even better! If One glue dot? Good. Two or three? Even better!

If you need hidden adhesive and a touch of dimension, try stacking your clear glue dots instead of reaching for foam tape. It’s perfect for vellum, acetate, and intricate die cuts where you don’t want the adhesive to steal the show.

Simple tips like this can make a big difference to the finished card!

Have you tried this before, or is this a new one for you?

Okay, but can we take a moment for these florals? Okay, but can we take a moment for these florals?

I created this card using the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Fragrant Florals from @altenewllc and honestly, that huge floral image does not need much help to look absolutely gorgeous.

I went with soft pinks and deep green leaves, then cut the circular aperture so the “Stay Beautiful” sentiment could peek through from underneath. Of course, I couldn’t leave it there, so we’ve also got foam tape, a bold black sentiment strip, twine doing its own thing and a little scattering of sequins for sparkle.

Soft and elegant… but still with enough going on to keep me happy!

What colour would you use for these flowers? I’m already thinking this would look incredible in blues.

AD | The featured products were kindly provided as part of my work with Altenew.
Golden florals on deep green cardstock will always Golden florals on deep green cardstock will always have my heart.

I created this thank you card using the Botanical Elegance Alcohol Marker Coloring Sheets from @altenewllc, colouring the flowers in warm golden tones before cutting them out and building this bold floral arrangement.

I love how dramatic the deep green background makes everything feel, especially with the soft foliage, layered sentiment and all those little finishing details.

Would you keep the flowers golden, or go for something completely different?

You can find more details over on my blog through the link in my bio.
