Day 9 of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challeng Day 9 of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge is here — and things are getting delightfully chaotic! 🎄✨

Today’s theme is Tinsel Trouble, and I couldn’t resist leaning into the festive mess with the Festive Tree & Wreath Die Set from @alexsyberiadesigns. I built up layers of rich green cardstock, added a loopy garland, and topped it off with sequins for that perfect glitter chaos moment.

Sometimes the most joyful makes are the ones that sparkle a little too much, right? 😉

🎇 Day 9 – Tinsel Trouble 🎇 Let’s bring 🎇 Day 9 – Tinsel Trouble 🎇

Let’s bring on the sparkle and the chaos!
Today’s prompt is all about embracing the messy, glittery, and delightfully imperfect side of Christmas — tangled lights, tinsel disasters, and all.

You might:
💡 Feature a playful scene with characters caught in the lights
✨ Go wild with glitter, sequins, or foil for a “beautiful mess” look
🎁 Use mixed textures or layers to mimic the tangled theme
😂 Or lean into humour with a funny sentiment or pun

It’s the perfect excuse to have fun, make a bit of a mess, and remember that even tinsel trouble has its charm.
Post your cards below — we can’t wait to see how you capture the chaos!

It’s Day 8 of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making C It’s Day 8 of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge, and that means it’s time for our second Sketch Challenge! ✂️

Sketches are such a great way to kickstart your creativity — they give you structure, but still plenty of room to play and make it your own.

For my take, I used the Kingston Crafts Vellum and Acetate Holiday Kit with the Christmas Paper Pad Matrix. I love how the layers of vellum and acetate add that soft, frosty feel while still keeping everything bright and festive.

Don’t forget to share your take on the sketch using #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge — can’t wait to see your interpretations!

🖊️ Day 8 – Sketch Challenge #2 🖊️

We’re back with another Sketch Challenge!
This layout is perfect for playing with layers, textures, and bold focal points. Whether you stick close to the sketch or flip it on its head, use it as your creative springboard.

You could:
❄️ Feature snowflakes, ornaments, or florals in the circular focal area
🎨 Mix patterned papers for contrast and depth
💌 Add stitching, vellum, or embossed layers to bring extra texture
🎁 Try rotating the sketch for a completely fresh perspective

And because sketches are kind of my thing… I’ll be giving away a free copy of The Sketch Mayhem to one participant who joins in today’s challenge!

Post your Sketch Challenge #2 cards below for your chance to win — and to keep the inspiration flowing for everyone else!
