Blue florals on a deep blue background? Yes please Blue florals on a deep blue background? Yes please.

I created this card using the gorgeous Nostalgic Florals Bundle from @altenewllc, and I love how completely different the florals feel against the darker cardstock.

The soft periwinkle flowers and fresh green leaves really pop, while the tone-on-tone stamped foliage helps build out the arrangement without taking over. I also added some loose twine, white splatters and clear sequins for a little extra texture and movement.

It’s definitely one of those cards where all the small details make such a difference.

What do you think of florals on darker backgrounds — would you normally reach for white, or are you tempted to go bold?

Why does it take me so long to make one card? Oh, Why does it take me so long to make one card?

Oh, I don’t know… maybe because I decide things like THIS are absolutely essential. 😂

Did I need to cut the centre out of this stamp? No.

Did anyone ask me to? Also no.

Did I sit there carefully cutting around every tiny bit anyway? Obviously.

Completely unnecessary. Deeply important to me.

Please tell me I’m not alone — what completely pointless thing do you do when you’re crafting that somehow becomes VERY important? 👇

Too early for Halloween? I don’t care. 👻 I’ve bee Too early for Halloween? I don’t care. 👻

I’ve been playing with the Hocus Pocus collection from @rosiesstudio and honestly… cute Halloween might be my favourite kind of Halloween.

For this one I kept things pretty simple — a bold purple ink-blended background fading into white, plenty of splatter, and then layered up that adorable little witch, moon and bats. I LOVE how that white glow ended up framing everything!

The Hocus Pocus collection has sadly sold out at @rosiesstudio, but I’ve spotted some of it still available elsewhere. 👀

Apparently I’ve been making cards for 20 YEARS thi Apparently I’ve been making cards for 20 YEARS this year… which doesn’t feel remotely possible 😂

So I think a milestone like that deserves a little celebration.

I want to treat myself to ONE crafty thing I’d normally look at, see the price and immediately convince myself I absolutely do not need. You know the kind. 👀

So I’m handing this over to you…

💸 If you were celebrating 20 years of crafting, what would you treat yourself to?

Enable me in the comments 👇 I’m genuinely going to look through your suggestions and I might just buy one!

Okay, I may have fallen HARD for these florals… 🌸 Okay, I may have fallen HARD for these florals… 🌸

The **Peony Corners Stamp, Die & Stencil Bundle** from @alexsyberiadesigns is doing all the heavy lifting on this one, and I absolutely love how those two big floral corners frame the sentiment!

I went for soft pink peonies with those little pops of golden yellow, plenty of fresh green foliage and a blush pink background to keep everything feeling really soft and pretty. Then, because apparently I’m incapable of stopping, I added some twine, sequins and a little white splatter for extra texture. 😂

And can we talk about just how much FLOWER you get from one stamped image?! Using it at the top and bottom makes the whole card look absolutely packed without needing loads of different products.

Would you go **pink peonies** too, or are you already imagining these in a completely different colour?
