Hello crafty friends!

Today is release day at Alex Syberia Designs and I’m so excited to be joining the Cozy Tea Time Autumn Release Blog Hop!
For my project, I’m featuring the beautiful Magical Wisteria Bundle, which includes the coordinating stamps, dies and stencils. I absolutely love those cascading wisteria blooms, and I wanted to create a card that really let them tumble across the design.
The full Cozy Tea Time release is available from today, with all of the new products now available to purchase individually. You can browse the new release through the Alex Syberia Designs UK Shop or Alex Syberia Designs USA/Canada Shop.
There’s also a giveaway happening as part of today’s hop, so make sure you keep reading for all the details.
Why You’ll Love the Magical Wisteria Bundle
The Magical Wisteria Bundle is one of those floral sets that gives you so many possibilities. The long, trailing blooms naturally create movement across a card, while the coordinating dies make it easy to add extra dimension by layering individual elements over the background.
I also love that the bundle gives you different colouring options. You can reach for the coordinating stencils when you want something quick and beautifully blended, or take your time adding your own colour to those gorgeous stamped details.
For this card, I went with fresh greens and soft pink wisteria blooms, adding deeper shades towards the centres of the flowers to really bring them to life.
Card Inspiration: Here For You Always Wisteria Card

I wanted this design to feel almost like you were looking through hanging wisteria, with the flowers coming in from different directions and framing the sentiment.

Rather than keeping all of the floral elements flat, I combined stamped imagery on the background with die-cut pieces raised above it. It creates loads of depth without taking away from all of the beautiful detail in the Magical Wisteria design.
- Create an A6 card base from white cardstock.
- Cut a white cardstock mat layer slightly smaller than the card front and temporarily position it onto the card base.
- Stamp two Magical Wisteria images so they extend across the edges of both the mat layer and card base. This helps the design flow naturally across the different layers.
- Stamp a third Magical Wisteria image onto a separate piece of white cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating die.
- Colour the die-cut image, along with the sections of the stamped images that appear on the mat layer. I kept the flowers in soft pink tones with deeper colour towards the centres, then added a mixture of light and deeper greens to the foliage.
- Carefully fussy cut into some of the foliage on the die-cut image, separating a few of the leaves and branches slightly to create extra movement and dimension.
- Add black ink splatters to the mat layer and allow these to dry completely.
- Adhere the mat layer onto the card base using foam tape, making sure the stamped images line back up with the sections underneath.
- Position the die-cut wisteria over the centre of the card and adhere it in place, allowing the raised and fussy-cut sections to add even more depth.
- Stamp the “Here For You Always” sentiment in black ink and cut it out using the coordinating die.
- Add the sentiment to the card using foam adhesive.
- Finish the design with a scattering of iridescent sequins for a little extra shine.
The combination of the stamped background and raised florals is such a simple way of making the design feel much fuller. Those little shadows underneath the die cuts really help the wisteria stand away from the card.
