Hello crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing a card that feels both bold and beautifully balanced, using the stunning Craft Your Life Project Kit: Floral Odyssey & Add-on Die Bundle. This kit is one of those that does all the heavy lifting for you — giving you gorgeous florals, layering options, and just enough detail to make your cards look effortlessly polished.
For this design, I wanted to let the florals take centre stage while keeping the background soft and textured, creating a card that really pops without feeling overwhelming.

Card Inspiration Floral Odyssey Blooms

For this card, I went with a strong red and blush colour palette paired with deep green foliage to create contrast and warmth. The embossed background adds subtle texture without competing with the florals, and the gold splatter and sequins bring in just the right amount of shine.
The sentiment strip is kept clean and simple, allowing the surrounding florals to frame it naturally — and I love how the twine adds that final soft, tactile detail.
- Start with a white card base and add a panel embossed with a subtle geometric or tiled pattern for texture.
- Stamp the floral and leaf images from the Floral Odyssey kit using a bold red for the main flowers, a soft blush for secondary florals, and a deep green for the foliage.
- Die cut all the elements using the coordinating dies from the add-on bundle.
- Arrange the florals around the edges of the panel, leaving the centre slightly open to create a natural frame.
- Adhere some elements flat and pop others up with foam tape for dimension.
- Add a sentiment strip across the centre using a coordinating or contrasting colour.
- Finish with gold splatter and a few sequins for sparkle.
- Wrap a little twine around the card front for added texture and interest.
