Card Inspiration – Love You Forever

For this card, I wanted to create something soft and romantic but still visually interesting. I started with a gentle pink ink-blended background and added subtle white paint splatter for texture and interest without overpowering the design.
The focal point is a trio of layered hearts, each stamped with sentiments from the Clear Words of Love Stamp Set. By stamping in coordinating pink and red tones, the text becomes part of the design rather than just something you read. Layering the hearts adds depth, while the die-cut “Love You” sentiment ties everything together beautifully.
A touch of twine, sequins, and soft neutral cardstock finishes the card and keeps the overall look balanced and elegant.
Step-by-step instructions
- Ink blend a soft pink background panel and add light white paint splatter. Set aside to dry.
- Stamp sentiments from the Clear Words of Love Stamp Set onto white and red cardstock using coordinating inks.
- Die cut heart shapes from the stamped panels.
- Layer the hearts across the centre of the card using foam adhesive for dimension.
- Add a die-cut “Love You” sentiment across the hearts, trimming if needed to fit the design.
- Finish with twine and a few sequins for subtle sparkle.
- Mount the panel onto a card base to complete your project.
