Welcome to Day 15 of the challenge! Today marks our third Colour Challenge, and this gorgeous palette is brought to you once again in collaboration with the amazing team at Concord & 9th. We’re working with a trio that feels wintry, elegant, and just a little dramatic — Midnight, Peacock, and Aqua Sky.
This combination has that perfect balance of deep, moody contrast and soft icy freshness. It’s the sort of palette that practically begs for snowflakes, shimmer, and bold wintry blends… so of course, we’re leaning all the way into it!

Daily Challenge
Colour challenges invite you to explore how much emotion and atmosphere you can create with just three shades. Today’s palette works beautifully across all styles — from clean and graphic to soft and magical.
- Blend your colours from light to dark for a frosty ombré effect (Aqua Sky into Peacock into Midnight is chef’s kiss).
- Use one colour as your dominant tone and bring the others in as details or accents.
- Create crisp die-cut shapes in contrasting shades for layered depth.
- Add metallics — silver works especially well with this palette — to bring extra sparkle to your winter scenes.
Today’s Project
For today’s card, I reached for the stunning Snowflake Season Border Dies by Kristina Werner paired with inks from Concord & 9th. They were the perfect match for this winter-rich palette.
I created a smooth blended background transitioning from Aqua Sky through Peacock and into the deep richness of Midnight. The snowflake borders were die-cut in crisp white to pop beautifully against the ombré blues — delicate, detailed, and full of festive charm.
A layered sentiment adds a modern finish, while a scattering of sequins brings that frosty shimmer that ties everything together. Simple, icy, and joyful — exactly the mood this palette inspires.
