Daily Challenge

For today’s prompt, think about how to capture the excitement of unwrapping surprises or peeking into a stocking. A few ways to interpret the theme:
- Create a stocking focal point filled with gifts, sweets, or greenery.
- Design a pocket card that holds a gift tag or mini note inside.
- Play with texture and layers to give your stocking a realistic, tactile feel.
- Add metallic or sparkly finishes for that magical Christmas morning shimmer.
- Use dimensional adhesives or stitching to make elements stand out.
Today’s Project

For my take, I went with a bold red stocking bursting with festive charm. I layered tiny presents, holly, and a candy cane to bring the stocking to life, then set it against a deep teal background to make those colours pop. A few splatters of white ink create a snowy finish, and a simple twine bow adds that final handmade touch.
The design feels classic yet modern — and just like a real stocking, it’s packed with small details that make it special.
