Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to Day 29 of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge — and today’s prompt is Cocoa & Company! If you’re someone who believes winter crafting is best enjoyed with a warm mug in hand, this is your day. Think cosy, think comfort, think mountains of whipped cream and maybe one too many candy canes. Zero regrets.

Daily Challenge

Your mission is to design something inspired by warm winter drinks — hot cocoa, festive lattes, spiced chai… or even a cup of Christmas cheer. Here are some ideas to get you started:
• Build an oversized mug with die-cut toppings (cream, marshmallows, cookies, candy canes — the full works)
• Use inky splatter or stencilled steam to create a cosy winter atmosphere
• Try a colour palette inspired by your favourite café order
• Add twine or patterned paper for that “wrapped up warm” vibe
• Lean into texture — embossing folders, felt die-cuts, glitter accents, the lot
Today’s Project

For today’s card, I reached for the Hot Chocolate Die & Stamp Set from Crafter’s Companion, and honestly… it’s adorable. I built a chunky teal mug filled with whipped cream, tiny gingerbread biscuits, candy canes, and peppermint details — basically everything you’d want in an over-the-top holiday drink.
A soft pink background keeps the whole card light and whimsical, while splatters and sequins add that snowy sparkle. To finish, I added a kraft banner stamped with the perfect sentiment: “Christmas Wishes and Hot Chocolate Kisses.”
Wrapped red-and-white twine ties the whole thing together (pun absolutely intended).
