Daily Challenge

For this prompt, we’re focusing on singers, songbooks, musical notes, or anything that captures the spirit of carolling. Think frosty breath in the air, glowing windows behind cheerful singers, or even whimsical creatures singing their hearts out. A few ideas to spark your creativity:
- Create a group of characters singing together — snowmen, animals, people… or something totally unexpected.
- Add die-cut musical notes, lyric strips, or sheet music backgrounds.
- Build atmospheric scenes: glowing lanterns, snowy streets, warm scarves, and rosy cheeks.
- Play with movement — curved banners, dynamic poses, or layered elements that mimic rhythm.
Today’s Project

For today’s card, I reached for The Snow Notes Etched Dies from Spellbinders, which were perfect for this theme. These charming snowmen come to life as a cheerful little choir, bundled up in colourful scarves with one proudly holding a songbook. I placed them against a softly ink-blended snowy sky, splattered with white for that frosty, winter-night sparkle.
A simple sentiment banner reading “holiday cheer” adds the finishing touch — because honestly, that’s exactly what these little singers radiate!
This card was such a joy to make, and I hope it inspires your own take on today’s musical theme.
